There is a sheep thats kept next to my horses field, and for the past few months he has been coming in my field, the hedge is huge but there field hasn't got a very big drop the other side. Shawn the sheep comes in as and when he feels like it and is slowly wrecking the hedge, on the occasions I have phoned them to tell them shawn is in my field eating my grass they say ''naww whats he like, I'll come and get him later''
He was in there eating it as soon as 2 of the paddocks were fertilised for MY horses to eat which I PAY RENT for
, the 1st time it came in it chased me up the bloody field!!! Bear would have killed him if he had got hold of it! He's huge, he looks like he's on steroids!
Yesterday he was in there when I went up so I chased him over the hedge with a lunge whip, and again today he was in the middle paddock eating my grass so I chased him back again.
This evening I rang the owners, I was very polite about it and she was very rude! I warned her that as he's slowly wrecking my hedge I have a colt (not that he's coltish, but they don't know that!)
, she said ''we've planted trees on the hegde''
1, they are about 15 inches tall
2, they only cover about 6 ft of the hedge
3, its not even the bit where he gets in! Its 3 places FURTHER down the hedge!
Oh and she said they are getting MORE sheep to keep him company!!!!
He's already got their 3 horses and chickens and ducks that he roams with!
Where do I stand? Can I phone anyone and report it?
My land owner has already asked them nicely serveral times to sort out the hedge or get some decent fencing up, they aren't skanky people, they have got lovely stables and really maintain their land really well.
What can I do?? Please can I have some advice
Thanks Sophie xx
