Hello again :D

Decided i need a more suitable and more use friendly for my T6 Thorowgood saddle as the ones i have seem awkward ( well seems like that to me anyway)

Would prefer a numnah rather than saddle pad, looking at prices would prefer second hand! but quite like the look of the half pads.

Do you still have to put them on top of a nummnah ( sorry stupid question i know)

Anyway just want peoples recommendations really and what about size? my saddle is 17.5"

Thanks :)

I had a Numed half pad that I used on top of a very thin numnah, but it was mainly to keep it clean, you can use them without too.

My T4 saddle was also a 17.5' and I can't remember for the life of me what size the pad was, sorry!

Can't help with the sheepskin side of things as i haven't got any sheepskin by nuumed, but as sarahann said, you can use them directly on the skin and don't need to put a thin saddlecloth underneath, although many people do as it helps keep them clean.
I have a collection of the standard GP quilted hi wither numnahs and really like them, I sometimes use a thorowgood and find that they do seem to fit very nicely with it. My TG is 17.5" and I've always chosen the full size numnahs x

The half wool nuumeds numnahs are great.wash up really well and last brilliantly I had 4 - 2 gp and 2 dressage. I got a half pad as well but never really got on as well with it - a got a bit bulky.

I have a full wool nuumed numnah that fits the saddle. You are welcome to try it before you look into buying? Only problem being that they are quite thick so may alter the saddle fit?
