Hi all

A friend of mine has very kindly offered me her horse to take to Pony Club Camp at Bishop Burton in 2 weeks time.
Have been to ride him and he is lovely

As it is such a huge favour I'm trying to think of something to buy her as a thankyou that she will actually use, instead of chocolates/flowers etc...

Anyone got ideas?
I've noticed she goes xc in a blue & green rodney powell body protector, and was thinking maybe a matching silk, with stars or something? As she doesn't seem to have one.
My Mum thought she might find that offensive though??
No idea why!

Helpppp?

What a kind friend you have! What about a voucher for Robinsons or rideaway, then she could choose something for her ned or herself??

I think a hat silk is a lovely idea - its personnal and you've gone to the trouble to get it. How about a blue/green whip or a saddle cloth with her initials on it.

Or what about a waterproof jacket with her and the pony's names embroidered on the back, that she could wear at competitions?

I think a hat silk is a lovely idea and it wouldn't matter if she already had one because it's somthing you've really thought about I am sure she wouldn't mind two! I have brought a couple off ebay which were really reasonable and even had a bobble! You could always take a good photo of her horse and get it blown up and put it in a frame. What a kind friend she is! Enjoy camp x
