Normally I'd just get my YO wine or chocolate, but she's been so helpful and generous this year that I'd like to get her something a bit nicer. I was thinking of some nice leather riding gloves or something... I'm on a VERY tight budget though, so can't really afford to spend more than a tenner. I was also thinking of finding a really nice photo of her horses and framing it... What do you think? Should I go practical or sentimental? Any other ideas for useful or original gifts?

I just ordered lots of photo presents. Got my mum and bf a photo book each. Everyone at the yard a key ring of there horse costs £1.50 each. My sister a mug of her pony. A pic for my bf.
You can get a mug and key ring for under a £10 but with a lot of thought put in.

Tescos photo are really good so are PhotoBox very pleased with both.

A pressie that shows thought and consideration is worth way more than money! One year my dad got a photo of my lad on a mouse mat for me and I still use it to this day, it's extreamly treasured and I was so touched that he went to the effort of having it done (he's not at all technical so it was a big deal for him to find a picture and send it!!!).

Photo gifts are great. We get calanders made from Vistaprint every year that are amazing for under £10 - you could upload photos of the yard and her horses onto the calendar for her to have in the tack room. They also do mugs, bags, t shirts, etc. I can't rave enough about them. I ordered 70 xmas cards two weeks ago with photos of out horses in the snow, and they got lost in the post. They have sent another 70 out without any fuss, saying that if the other ones turn up have them all! Such great service.
