I need to sort out gifting my old neddy to his new owners, he was rehomed as a companion before xmas but we have had to go through the long process of LOU. Anyways that is all settled now, so has anyone got any pointers on what I need to write to the new owners so we are no longer responsible for him?

This happened to me, I had my mare on loan for a few months and owners sold her to me for £5. It was a very short and simple statement saying that she passed into my ownership, names, date etc but that she must be returned to them if ever the occassion arose.

Just ask them to buy him for £1.00.
giving a receipt of change of ownership-same as if you had sold him for £1,000.
We were given a 3yr old by a judge that liked my daughters riding and were worried she'd ask for him back after we had broken him and he was worth something.
So we asked her to sign that we bought him for a £1.00 rather than a loan agreement.
