Her photos pop up on FB now and then, there was one of a mare with the foal in foaling position which was incredibly useful for an owner of mine who was waiting for her mare to foal down. I have seen videos of her demos.

The paintings are a brilliant aid to understanding how it all works, when you see a horse moving it really brings the whole skeletal, muscular thing into perspective, makes it so much easier to understand than mere pictures on a page.

Ah of course :o :o I didn't recognise the name, even though I have her book

I would love to go to one of her demonstrations, a friend's horse was the model for one, mine would never stand still long enough!

She came to our yard and did a day seminar on horse massage. she did the painting demo in the morning, then in the afternoon we all learnt basic massage techniques. I learnt a lot and found it really useful.

I met her a few months ago after she spoke at the Hartpury lameness convention.. Nice woman.. She was going to come see my youngsters and my big mare but I moved before we could arrange it..

Love her work..

Thank you for the thread. I've never heard of Gillian Higgins, but having seen your thread and looked at her website, I'm interested in finding out more.
