I had some pics take today and I really noticed (noticed before but not so much) that when shes stood, she stands with her front feet quite apart yet her back feet close together....very odd to me?! She had an ill fitted saddle which meant she built muscle on her fronts and not her bum really, but I changed this as soon as saddler confirmed what I thought.
Would there be any other reason for this stance? She doesnt lean back like a laminatic pony would,...just stands wide on the fronts.
Any ideas?

without seeing photo

may well be that front legs are correct and back legs wrong, e.g cow hock or similar

generally wide front stance indicates good heart and lung space

if photos don't show it, are the legs vertical (fetlocks below shoulders, quarters)
or do the front ones bend/twist out (eg below/at the knee/fetlock)
or the back ones bend/twist in (eg below/at the hock/fetlock)

i assume she's not a youngster from the saddle comments?

Try and take a picture of her. Also sit/stand and watch her resting tied up on the yard for like half an hour. Does she look like she's shuffling a bit and trying to get comfortable? Does she take one front foot and often place it slightly in front of the other, relieving weight? Is she broad across her chest, because this could account for her front feet being far apart? Could be something, most likely foot pain for some reason, could be nothing.
