Random post but last night when I changed girlies dressging I had a good old look at the wound and its healing its starting to stick and heal! Was so thrilled as the night before last the glue that the vet had used hadnt stuck the flesh back together but we are healing now!!

Hopefully dressing can come off Sunday and with a few days of air to it then I can ride and I can stilll have my lesson with Mary King!!

Pointless post but so pleased !

After such a deep injury you would be more than pushing your luck to take the horse into an intensive jumping environment so soon.

And with having had a week on box rest it is unlikely that your horse would be sufficiently fit.

Maybe you should consider your horse's welfare a little more before worrying about your own enjoyment.

Whos taking my horse into an intensive jumping enviroment and ill have you know my horses welfare always comes first! Ill always always always put horse before my own needs.

We are all able to read what is available on websites. Do you not think a 90 minute lesson with Mary King would be an intensive jumping environment?????

Following several weeks of adverse weather conditions, I would hazard that only those who have indoor facilities at their disposal have horses fit enough to really take part in this sort of thing, and yours has had yet another week off work on box rest.

Anybody who truly cared about their horses well being would not be considering such a clinic with (a) an unfit horse and (b) a horse which has suffered a nasty leg injury.

Ok first of all this is in doors and second off all I am organising the event and so I will not be joining into a mixed class so will be riding at my own pace on my own in a private lesson

I would not put my horse in a situation where she may be hurt or cause her self more injury. He wound will be healed enough by then to do some light jumping and flat work and its only for half an hour beacuse I feel this will be enough at the moment having spent so much time in becuase of the snow and this injury.

I care for my horse more than you or anyone else could possibly know. She is my everything
