I felt a cob who I met on a road with a young girl full neck and winter coat un clipped in the freezing weather and her horse was sweaty(she was walking it along). Rugs are dangerous in the wrong hands and horses dont need them. Keeping clean I can understand but most horses dont need them. They are not human they are animals. Ignore them I bet your horse is happy having a good roll etc. If the horse is elderly shivering etc that is different. Good luck they are lacking in reality and live in fluffy land. Tell them to come on the forum they can ask the question.
