Girls who wear glasses...

My friend wears contact lenses if she s going to ride...I just ride without and accept that the brown blurs in the distance are trees and I greet everyone I see with a hearty hello just in case it is someone I know!
 
I've worn glasses for longer than I've ridden. To me it is natural to do all of my horsey chores and to ride with my glasses on. TBH it wouldn't even cross my mind to take them off.

I've never got on with contacts, so it's specs all the way for me (and the ensuing misting, rain drops, slipping down my nose in the heat...)
 
I refuse to wear glasses around horses, and hate the idea of contacts. So, basicly I'm 'poor sighted', but manage. I wouldn't be able to see/recognise any humans if we encounter them - another ''hello'' to all person!!
If doing a XC round or SJ course, I can remember where I'm going and just kick and aim in the right direction - the horse has eyes after all and does the rest for me!!
 
Casey76-the hot weather thing would probably irritate me more than the rain actually,I don't really do heat!
Midlifecrisis and Fools Motto-I really wish I could do without anything,but would be a liability,dread to think :-)
