Girth reccomendations what do you use ?

I need a new girth for every day use as well as for dressage . Can anyone reccomend me a good comfy one preferably elastic ? I know before someone has said there are ones similar to fairfax on eBay but much much cheaper . Thanks

I use a leather albion girth on one of mine, very good quality although I find I have to use a girth sleeve as he is a 'sweater' and the leather gets slippering when sweaty.


My other horse has to have a girth with no elastic as he is barrrell shaped and anything with elastic on makes his cc jump saddle swing round on him as he has no withers to anchor it on! thoroughgood 'cob' girth

I have and always will use the thorowgood ones, so easy to keep clean and I have never had rubbing problems with them with mrs " I am a cob but have the skin of a TB"

Jaguar girths from ebay, elastic end and anatomically shaped with useful D rings sides and centre, same materail as Thorogood girths, about £35

I have a leather Jumpers Horseline one with elastic at both ends think it was about £30.00 and it's actually alright leather
