I've got a humane girth atm but tbh i'm not keen, heard quite a few bad things about them...

Soo any recommendations? Something nice and breathable, good for long distant riding that wont chaff! Please and thank you!!

Nice cup of yorkshire tea and hob nobs for those who reply :p

I have just bought a professional choice girth on recommendation from my saddler, grips the horse so doesnt need to be strapped on too tight, so far so good!!!

My horse has got 'lumps' on his girth area from any girth I've used except the Wintec. It's easy to use as it's elasticated, easy to clean (just hose and/or scrub) and not expensive. The longest I've ridden is for between 2.5 and 3 hours and he has never reacted badly to it.

Another vote for the wintec girth. They are cheap and have some give without elastic ends. Really easy to keep clean and mine has never rubbed (my Horse has pretty easily rubbed skin as well). I do lots of long hacks with no issues.

I use professional choice girths on all mine for hacking and juming/ cross country. They dont slip, seem very comfortable and haven't rubbed at all.

I use dt saddlery memofoam one. I prefer no elastic on my girths. Have just added sheepskin sleeve for thin skinned horse

personally you cant be good quality leather girths for comfort, durability and looks. Def dont buy the cheap indian leather type (I have nothing agaist indian btw!!!!) It depends on your budet though!
