girth size questions - quick answers appreciated...

...... cos im watching one on ebay that finishes soon, lol

i have a 48 inch wintec chaffless girth on my lad - and with my new saddle it is at the top holes on each side...

bearing in mind he is also going to loose some weight (hopefully)

would you go for a 46inch or a 44inch ?

I'd go for a 44 myself. One that is just 2 inches shorter will still be done up near the top (I always find it a pain the put the girth up when I'm mounted if it is done up too high!). Esp if he is loosing weight too, 44 would be my choice!

44 that should move it down by about 2 holes each side (figuring a hole = 1" )

ETA - aw **** just seen when this started - you've prob bought it by now so my post was a bit irrelevent lol!!!
