Just wondering how do all u guys that use sheepskin girth sleeves and martingales combine the 2 together? I use mine by just putting the girth and sleeve through the loop but by the end if the ride the sleeve has fallen and is all creased and looks very uncomfortable for my pony. If u use something else what do use and is there any way I can sort out this problem.
Thank you for reading.

Norton do a sleeve which is made of more like a knitted material, grips onto the girth a bit better so shouldn't wrinkle down.
I'm not a huge fan of martingales anyway, can you get away with not putting it on?

No the sheepskin is not attached to leather! Not to sure if it's real sheepskin but I was told it was! I do however think it is not the real thing. And yes I use a martingale when I hunt.

Your girth sleeve shouldn't slip or wrinkle. I use a sheepskin girth sleeve with a martingale all the time and in just the way you do. But I've never known it to slip. We position evenly and tighten the girth from both sides -as you would for a stud girth - so you don't pull it more to one side than the other. But once in place it should stay there. Might it have softened or gone a bit limp with age and washing? Or perhaps it doesn't fit the girth strap as well as it might? Either way I think you need new ones I'm afraid.
