Girth strap replacement costs

Hi

Does anyone have any experiences of how much it costs to replace the girth straps on a dressage saddle?

And recommendations for saddlers to provide this service in the southwest (bristolish area)

I've been quoted £80 for two monoflap saddles (so with long straps) for in Kent.

Brill thanks. Mine isn't mono flap not sure how much that differs in terms of replacing etc.

It doesn't really, they attach in pretty much the same way I think!

It's usually about £10 a strap for normal length?

Thanks I'm hoping it's not as much as £80 but I guess in the grand scheme of things it's money well spent!!

£80 is for both saddles, so £40 per saddle. So if it's normally £10 per strap for normal saddles, I'm happy with that since these are long length like dressage saddles

when i had the shorts on my jump swapped for long straps think it was only about £20/£30

I would guess it depends on whether the whole strap is to be replaced or merely a new section sewn onto the existing strap.

I was quoted £30 per strap last year by three different places. Didn't have it done in the end as it is a saddle that I'm not currently using.
