Girth suggestion

I have a 15.2hh, rising six year old Hanoverian dressage horse who seems to be very sensitive with his girth area (nothing extreme, no rearing, bucking, etc. just unhappiness when it is done up, tail swishing, looking back to see what you are doing etc.). His saddle and back and checked regularly so there doesn't seem to be an underlying problem, just a sensitivity to the girth (he has very sensitive skin, gets skin allergies, lumps and bumps all the time, but no sores, swellings or rubs in the girth area).

Can anyone recommend a girth (dressage) he might like? I tried a Wintec elasticated (the elastic was in the middle for extra comfort) and he hated it and one with a prolite sleeve with no improvement.

You could try the aerborn humane girth. I used one on a sensitive mare that I had and she was happy to be girthed up with this. It comes in dressage style too.

sheepskin sleeve or I found the neoprene girths work well with a sensitive soul

Thanks everyone. I tried him with a sheepskin sleeve today (which hadn't occurred to me as he had hated the expenssive prolite sleeve) and he seemed happier. Hopefully it wasn't a one off, but otherwise I'll try the aerborn or the neoprene, thanks!
