Hi Guys,
New to posting on here, I have an extremely girthy TB ex race horse who had a rubbish start. Unfortunately my poor boy got stuck under a partition of a stable at the dealers I purchased him from and obtained a large haematoma to his rear leg which was drained by the vet. Unfortunately this affected his gait and knocked his back out which he has had a years worth of physio in order to get him sorted.
Finally we have been riding him again for about 4-5 months and he is getting stronger, he still has physio and has an extremely sensitive girth area, sometimes he can be fine to girth up and other times he can be a shaking mess until he does some stretches and has a chance to walk it off. My physio isn't worried about this (I trust her as she is recommended over the south east of Kent) but she has recommended a Fairfax girth or similar.
Thats where you little beauties come in, can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative for my boy until I can afford a Fairfax, I have looked into the Wintec elasticated centre girths and also the Cair girths... anyone suggest or recommend one for my very sensitive boy?
