Girths for TBs

Basically, what girths to people recommend for sensitive TBs? I need to buy a new one and I just want to buy the best one for her as there are so many options and I’m in a position to spend a bit more money this time!

Anatomical I would say, my horse doesn’t like pleather or leather really. So we have an anatomical shires armafleece and he loves it

My TB had a Prolite. He got hideous rubs and a saddler recommended them to me.
It really helped.
A friend has since purchased a Le Mieux gel girth though which is the same shape but feels much nicer!

I was looking at the Le Mieux gel girth, just didn’t know if they were worth the price tag!!

Well I’ve not used it myself but just mentioned as it’s the same shape as the Prolite I was really pleased with but felt softer and just lovly!

I have a fairfax for mine and it seems to work well for him as he has weirdly wrinkly armpits and it doesn't trap any of the skin but it is very expensive and some people seem to have gone off them.

People seem to really rate the stubben string girths so they might be worth a go.

Just changed my tb into a cord girth. The change in his stride length is very noticeable!!

Long/short girth? Shape of ribcage, placement of girth groove? There are SO many options, have you asked your saddle fitter? I ask all my customers to consult me as so often what they buy is completely wrong in terms of working for their particular horse/saddle combo.
