Girths/ Girth sleeves for thin/ sensitive skin

As the post says my mare has very fine skin and every girth has rubbed that we've owned so now looking for a new girth that'll be comfortable and not rub. We've tried different leather and also synthetics like wintec

Have you tried the Thorowgood padded synthetic girth? My diva of a horse hates anything other than those!

I either use a sheepskin girth sleeve or the professional choice girths, they never seem to rub

NuuMed sheepskin girth sleeves are great, were good for a mare we owned who didnt like her girth doing up.

Have two sensitive TBs we use Prolite girth sleves on them with good results

i use a sheepskin cover since my mare started to get rubs, theyve cleared up now so will have to keep using it. it looks a bit bulky as shes only small but aslong as it keeps her comfortable.

Have you tried the new wintec cair girth - I have a really sensitive gelding that kicks and squeals when I do the girth up, bought this new girth on recommendation of a friend and couldn't believe the difference, after a few weeks the biteing and squealing was drastically reduced and he walks away much better after being girthed up. They are quite costly but I would definitely say its the best money I've spent for a long while.
