Took in a stray bitch yesterday...that was tied to a fence on a main road.....she was there from early morning to 6pm.....someone I board dogs for took it home, as she was in the travel agents opposite....as the travel agents where going to call the dog warden.....SO.....she then phoned me......I had no space but made my way across to collect her.

Tok one look at the skinny little mite..........I noticed immediatley that she was in pup

Went out tonight to feed horses....comes home to 4 puppies........so couldnt even get her speyed in time......JUST WHAT WE NEED

Exactly........a litter of puppies...my own personal nightmare......well she is a shaggy little tan bitch and they are all the same colour, look exactly like her....so probabley little x terriers.
 
Chin up mate, I know it's crap and it does make you question your faith in human beings, when someone can abandon a skinny pregnant bitch on a main road tied to a fence and not even have the decency to hand her into a rescue centre if they couldn't be bothered to deal with the consequences of letting her get pregnant, but on the upside they are now all safe any well and I know you will work your magic on them, no matter how tired, pissed off and over crowded you are.

Thats the problem...everyone probabley does want a terrier type...puppy at that...and its the adult dogs that concern me most....All my time/energy is dedicated to them, and trying to get them homed..NOT PUPPIES

Look at it this way, you saved not just one life but five. Thre will we all sorts on here who will love pups and they'll be just perfect for xmas(but remember a dog is not just for christmas but for life!).
Im proud of you for caring! Good on ya girl! There's too much war and grumbling for people who care, but every little bit helps. Give them a hug for me...

No...thats the problem...the shelters around here are horrid....cold concrete places....where puppies come down with parvo and some have a 7 day stay..then PTS

Sophie fixator...lol...is doing well...another 4 weeks atleast for fixator removal.....she has been evicted from her snug bed for mammy and little critters

Ah, the season of goodwill to all dogs has started early this year! How come the poor wee thing was there all day? Surely someone must have realised she was abandoned?
