So Gillie was castrated yesterday. All went well and I picked him up at 3pm. The nurse told me hoe would probably just want to sleep when he got home but no, he wanted to whinge ALL NIGHT LONG! I have the most hideous cold so am not sleeping well anyway and now I have a whining Labrador to add to the torture. He has painkillers and seems fine but he just wants constant attention. I guess it is his revenge for us getting his nuts cut off.

Bless he's just trying to tell you has lost his ball(s).

I got pretty used to having B come right up into my face as I was lying in bed and barking at me at 5am for his toilet break. If I didn't respond to that, I got high-fived in the face........

Not the best timing to have a cold and a dog feeling sorry for himself on the same time. Personally I would give in and, without giving him any other fuzz, simply have him close to me as much as possible.

Hope the both of you feel/gets better soon.
