I'm sat cuddling my lab feeling so incredibly sad for my parents who are sat at home waiting for the vet to put there 2 year old Leonburger down, it just seems so unfair.

Make the most of every second with your dogs you never know when they will be gone 😢

Oh, I am so sorry to read this. There's a world renowned Leonburger breeder on my road and I see her dogs regularly. They are a beautiful breed and I'll be thinking of your parents xxx

Your parents don't deserve this,...I hope this isn't a breed genetic problem. I lost a Dogue de Bordeaux mastiff at three and years later still feel raw. I am sorry for their pain at this time and actually do hug my dogs a little harder each year they get over three years. I have an oldie at the moment who is very fragile.. I know it will hurt to lose her,but to lose a dog when so very young is something you cannot describe nor accept easily.

Thanks guys x it is made so much harder by her being young. They lost a Newfie at just 6 before rescuing this dog so it seems doubly unfair they have had two go young when they give them such wonderful lives.

Bellasophia it isn't a genetic problem she had kidney failure which was potentially caused by her eating something at the beach which poisoned her slowly or just a problem with her kidneys in herself.
