Giving £ to equine charities - how do you chose and a workable solution?

Do you donate to an Equine Charity?

If so how do you choose?

Would you donate to a central holding account that then chose a selection of equine charities to spread the donations across each month so that you could in theory help more charities?

Thoughts please?

At the yard I'm at we give money/bags of feed etc to our local horse trust, they do an amazing job so we'd rather support the local charities
