My horse is now out 24/7 which is great :D however I have had to stop giving her supplements (for joints etc) which i'd really rather not. She doesnt get a feed as she puts on weight easily. Does anyone have this prob?!:(

What about using something like one of the topspecs (senior?), which is in pellet form so you can feed it alone, and includes joint stuff.

Ok, so maybe I am missing something here. Why cant you give her a tiny feed - high fibre, handful of "something", chaff etc just to get supplements in her? I do with my guys who are all out, but need their herbs / supplements etc... A handful of low calorie feed is not going to make any difference to her

Baileys Lo Cal is ideal. Pelleted balancer, contains every vit and min known to man. Tasty enough that my horses will eat it neat. As it says, deliberately v low in calories for good doers.

I've switched to a balancer which has everything mine needs. I'm using Top Spec Senior Balancer and having done lots of research, it does seem to be the best as it's almost the only one where you actually get the amounts of biotin, glucosamine and lots of other minerals and vitamins that they actually need. I'm sure there are other good balancers out there but make sure you check the quanitities of the vitamins they will receive as many put inadequate amounts in and make ridiculous claims.

there is a good joint lick (big orange tub) you can leave out in the field, no need for feed. I use it for my 19 year old, works well.

I mix a tiny bit of chaff (unmolassed) a scoop of feedmark benivit multi vit and mineral and a small amount of hedge herbs, this adds the flavour as well as the goodness of the herbs, add a little water, get some and squeeze it in my hand to make a ball shape and hand feed it as a treat, he thinks, but he is getting all his supplements. Of course you would add her joint supplement.
