I was going to just plonk the saddle on and go out but thought it might be better to act with a bit of discretion. Took up the idea of body protector too, which I don't normally wear for everyday riding.
He was just his normal, lazy self, trying to eat the grass while being lunged. Didn't bat an eyelid when I was on and saw the dog walker through the hedge, which sometimes sends us sideways, and was very good going down the road.
Good boy, I feel better now and ready to get out and about.
