Had anyone had lessons or similar here?

I'm living in Southampton now and missing riding so thought I'd get some lessons, did a google search and this place came up. It looks nice from the website but I'd love some input.

Other recommendations for places in the same area for lessons etc more than welcome!

Ah, didn't realise they didn't have an indoor. That's unfortunate.
I've ridden at Quob previously and liked it but felt a little like I outgrew even the 'advanced' lessons.. But if I stuck to private lessons rather than group it might work better.
Pinkmead may be a little far as I'm on the other side of Southampton really, and also it's even more expensive! I'd def not want to be in a group lesson with up to 8 people either!
Eta; well maybe it's not that different a distance to Quob! Clearly not paying attention.

Why don't you ask Quob to challenge you more? Maybe put you in a different group? They train up to Stage 4 so they must be able to do something for you.

Out of all the RS in the area, it is the one I would recommend (I teach a lot of people who come out of riding schools onto private horses. Lets put it that way!)

Or if you want more maybe look for a share? there are always a lot around.

Ideally I'd look for a share but at the moment work etc is all up in the air and I don't want to commit when I don't know what time I'll be able to do once I start. I wouldn't want to let someone down.
I think I'll get in touch with Quob and see. Having private lessons should be good, might start with some lunge lessons too actually. Had a few before I went to college who then mistook me for a Stage 3 rider! Ha.
