Ahhhh did I make the whole yard eat their words today

Yesterday I was told that P was not a patch on another horse on the yard - which I thoroughly disagreed with. No one has seen me schooling or jumping her recently as I have ridden when there has been no one around for one reason and another. Anyway, since my lesson with partoow I have buckled down and ridden back to my routes and been very classical - P has transformed under me and I have been very happy with her - I have also tweaked her diet and she seems to be benefitting from that too.

We jumped today and she was ace. But it was her flatwork that amazed my instructor - I made her get on at the end to feel what she was like and she was almost speechless - could not believe how uphill she is now compared to before, how light she is now and how her canter has improved 100% - we actually have a SJ canter now

So I am grinning like a Cheshire Cat - today I think I proved to them all that she was worth every penny of the £6500 I paid for her

Now to work on me, my core stability and my fitness

I SO SO wish I had had my phone in my pocket to take some vid of her - GUTTED, but I will try and get someone to do some filming this weekend (have lost my camera so it will be crappy but will show the difference!)

That sounds awesome, its such a good feeling when everything falls into place, you must've worked really hard so I think that more than qualifies you to gloat!!

???)

So pleased to hear this. My daughter works so hard since meeting Partoow and although we can't go for many lessons she is enthused to work hard. She really concentrates on her riding and the basics and it all fits into place.
I feel proud that I paid a small part in this and Partoow loved your horse, she told me so.

Just for jumping, not for flatwork - she puts my fences up and gives me eyes on the ground and barks at me when I slip into my faults - worth every penny as I hate getting on and off all the time to do fences *lazy git*

Oh and this was the first time I have had her since I had partoow - I just wanted a decent jump sesh really!
