Watching it on TV last night, Ben Maher's horse Point Break had a really unusual (at least to me) crupper for want of a better word - straps either side which went between the horse's back legs and then back up to the back of the saddle. Not something I have seen before and a clever design. The jumping was amazing, Jessica Springstein's horse in the jump off tried so hard and was so agile.

Are you sure it wasn't a 'jock strap'? Was he riding a stallion?

(Can't google to get you a photo as I am on work laptop and I'm worried about what will pop up as a search result!)

You could be right as is a stallion. I can't get a photo either to copy over. May have to delete post to hide my ignorance about such things.....
