As title!

We are getting through a ridiculous amount of Fly Spray yet the horses are still plagued by flies. They are driving us mad

Has anyone had good results with Fly Free?

We use Fly Free on our Big Pansy [

] and it's made a huge difference. If they won't eat it straight off [and it does smell awful] then add a couple of teaspoons of honey and some apples.

If this is like Super Scratch there is not a hope in hell of getting it down Buck, I must have wasted buckets and buckets of feed - he just sniffed it and walked away!

I hope so as i started using it on Saturday

I bought a tub of mint to help it go down, and have had no problems with "moose" eating it

It smells like curry and a lot of horses wont eat it. All mine have eventually (adding a very small amount, bit more each day and add carrots / apples / apple juice as well) until they accepted it. But it did work for mine - even for my mare who reacted very badly to bites and had to wear a Boett the year before.

I feed to to very fussy TB's......... it took a couple of weeks of feeding a pinch at a time, but all of them will now eat it in unlimited amounts

It does smell really strongly, and I thought it was horrible when I first got it, but now I love the smell and so do the horses! other people I've reccomended it to have also said they love the smell now.

I've been using it for a couple of years now, and it's honestly really good. The only time I ever apply fly spray is for riding on very hot still days when the horse is likly to sweat alot- I'm still on the same bottle of fly spray I bought last year!!! Give it a go, it's loads less hassle than spray and fly rugs etc
