global herbs

Has anyone used GLOBAL HERBS products? and with what effect??

Especially RESTORE, just bought some for my chap as just found some ragwort in his field and am on a mission of hacking the damned stuff out and not winning the battle even with ragfork- perhaps I just need to bash the damn stuff with said fork! ANyway taped round the worst of where it keeps sprouting, and read that RESTORE is very good liver tonic (dont think hed eat it, but worried sick incase he has)

However, another forum link stated their horse went bonkers on it (dont want bonkers, like calm and sensible)

Ayway - hope you got this far,

Airway Plus Liquid, then powder in winter months, and Zephyr Pollenex in summer. I think they did ease symptoms - although mine was more about breathing than other reactions

I used one of their products last week and was astounded at the quick result.

Not sure what your set up is but could you take him off the field & spray the ragwort?

Random Global Herbs-related question - do they ALL stink to high heaven??! A horse at work is on some GH supps and I am surprised he eats it TBH. One of them smells like sulphur...

I've used Restore on both of my horses. Both of them ate it with no problems, although they aren't keen on Globalvite.

The TB, who is prone to blow up with the slightest change to his diet, looks great after the Restore, and no change to his temprament. (I'm going to try their calmer next)

I have not used Restore but have used some of their other products and yes they do all stink but I have had not problems with even fussy eaters and found them to be really effective.

What struck me was that the first year I went to Your Horse Live, the Global Herbs stand smelt awful and everyone was avoiding it. The next year they were burning incense and funnily enough there were more customers around the stand!

I use Fly free to great effect - not one bite since I started and last year she was in a Boett all summer. Have also tried SuperCalm (on for 3 weeks) and no difference in nutty mare!

SuperCalm works a treat for me. The loopy welsh is still excitable but its stopped her being so arguementative, so if I say enough is enough, she settles rather than rearing.

I use TB calmer, and think it's very good. All horses react differently to herbs so you just never know until you try it on your own horse, I'm afraid. Good luck!
