Hi, I have a 16.2hh, 7 year old, arab x DWB, gelding, he is worked 6 - 7 days a week and is fed Simple System horse feeds.
I first tried supercalm on him last summer as he had been getting progressivly more aggressive since we lost his best friend, Dobbin.
As a last resort I tried supercalm, we had used several global herbs products on Dobbin with a lot of success.
After about a week on supercalm Obe had become less aggressive and his eye had changed, he had lost the tension and anger that was there before the supercalm.
I weaned him off it over winter thinking he had resolved his issues however this spring I have put him back on the supercalm and once again I have a lovely horse.
Initially I give him the full 4 scoops in 2 feeds per day and slowly reduce it down, at the moment he is on 2 scoops in 1 feed per day.
I have also tried the Instant supercalm as he gets stressed at competitions, the first time I used this I didn't find much difference but the next time he was calmer but it was also a different venue so this could have been a contributing factor.
I hope this is helpful, these things are worth a try as no one horse is the same. We have had a lot of success with global products for breathing, dust & pollen allergies and aggression.
