Hi,

Has anyone been up to Kingswood EC nr Wolverhampton and is it hours away?

I want to do the BN Regional final but the two that are closest to me are on whilst I am on honeymoon (typical!). I am about 15 mins from Junc 9 of M5 and I'm really not looking forward to the trip.

Also, would I be allowed to have my trainer ride my horse in the regional or does the person that qualified them have to ride them?

am not 100% sure but i was under the impression it was the horse that qual for 2nd rounds, mite b worth giving the bsja a ring,
 
Anyone can ride your horse in the 2nd rounds. The other thing is that since the rule change on how many qualify - it is usually only one per regional final you really want a horse winning at Foxhunter to stand any chance of getting qualified.
 
Goodness, I didn't have the slightest illusion about qualifying!!

I really just wanted to have a go as it's probably the only regional final I'll ever be brave enough to do, let alone qualify for! I know you are allowed to do two so was going to do Kingswood myself and have my trainer take him to probably area 42 whilst I'm away.

I'm just trying not to think about what a long drive back it will be when I've had the first fence in round one!!

ditto!! jumped 2nd rounds bn last year was a bit shocked (to say the least) at height, width, distances, tech, had jumped only disc/newc before!!
