Hi,

Please does anyone have (or knows someone who has) a 4 or 5 acres (or bigger!) field to rent near Stroud/ Cirencester and around this area?
DIY or grass livery would be great as well.
My friend has 2 horses and I have a 14hh gelding. The 3 of them are unshod :-)

I really hope you can help as we are a bit stuck at the moment!

Hi, try the miserden estate office, they rent out fields. Also, you could try barton end stables, see if they have any grazing available. :)

My friend lives in Avening so Miserden is probably a bit too far but I'll talk to her to be sure:-)
Tewkesbury is way too far but thanks anyway! (I work in Bibury so would be a bit of a trek everyday.
Barton end, someone has just Pm'd me saying to avoid them but waiting from an answer from her to know Why!
 
Burnt Ash Farm and The Shard are in Minchinhampton on A419 out of Stroud towards Cirencester.

If you just want a field to rent then maybe worth contacting DC of Minchinhampton Pony Club see if they know any local horse friendly farmers (you could also try secretary Frampton Family Riding Club) or just go around knocking on doors. I've never seen grazing really advertised it all seems to be arranged word of mouth.

Dotty1, do you mean Stroud services?(in Chalford?)
I have already called everyone who have put adverts there (and keep going once a week to see if they are new ones...) but no one had enough spaces for 3 horses :-( or some of them still have their ad there but don't have any spaces at all.
