hi all

just wondering if anyone lives in gloucestershire/cirencester area interesting to see how many people live round here, also i am looking for someone to share/help me out and was wondering if anyone knew of anybody who was looking for this?

Don't know anyone for sharing, but my yard will be opening on 25th Sept... opposite the Hare and Hounds on the Fosse!!

Hokay... it's currently a work in progress - beautiful already, but needs adding to! - but when it's done we will have...

75 acres post and railed fields (turnout 365 days a year, whatever the weather)
Indoor school
2 full sets of showjumps
Salted jumping paddock and dressage arena
Loading ramp
Planning permission going through at the moment for outdoor school and lunge pen
Wash box with hot and cold water and solarium
Farrier/vet box
Yard is fully alarmed, alarm can be zoned dependant on who is where!
Rug room with industrial washing machine and tumble dryer
A VERY lovely YO :D
A sexy farrier
18 boxes spread over three barns
4 acre starvation paddock with field shelter, grazed bare by sheep all year

I'm in Gloucestershire- Not a million miles from Cirencester but too far for a share unfortunatly
Near Bourton on the Water- Are you new to the area?
 
thank you mcnally! ohh i like bourton on the water use to go there for school trips!
not new to the area but new to not having so much time lol haha, and with winter approaching i really wanna find someone who wants to ride as much as they want realy, help me out with day to day tasks
very relaxed about the whole thing and so is my boy so just someone nice who wants to have some fun!
 
what would most people do about the sharer situation?

would you ask for contribution towards keep or not?
i was thinking not so much as would just be thankfull of the help, wat does everyone else out there do?
 
If anyone wanted to share my horse I would be grateful of the help and extra work for him so i wouldn't ask for anything money wise.
Unless maybe the sharer gave him so much work i had to pump him with extra feed or something then i might ask for a contribution of a bag of feed now and again or something?

Poor you Bourton for school trips!! I'd not have been impressed at that! lol x
 
yer i agree with you obv all situations are diffrent and i would prob ask of help with shoeing cost and thts about it will jst be gratefull for the help!

haha it was fun there are lots of little places to get lost there so no teacers i distinctly remember all of sitting on the far bridge having a sneaky ciggy were they couldnt find us ahhh to be 15 again!
 
Haha- Naughty! Those bridges are handy at times!

Actually i have a part share type thing also (I um... forgot that!) i pay half the shoes, the horse is not shod very often, about every 9 weeks and i pay £30 which i am happy with.
