Recommendations please for WARM, WATERPROOF gloves that I can work in please - I can either tie a haynet and get wet (so cold...) hands, or keep warm and dry hands but be unable to do anything!

My daughter has some Sealskinz which would match your requirements I think.
Not the cheapest but worth the money. Stocked in many places.

Another vote for Sealskins, they are incredible and I don't know how I got through winters without them!! Stay well away from winter riding gloves, as although they're mega-toasty you won't be able to do anything wearing them. I wear my "competition" gloves for weather like this, doing haynets etc and manage fine, though I think they probably do even thinner ones in their non-horsey ranges if you have a look on their website. Amazing gloves x

Sealskinz are always recommended but if like me you can't run to them these are a great low cost option but only really warm down to -2 and although water proof you can't immerse them due to stretchy bit on the back. I deal with soaked hay a lot and they've been a boon for me this year.
