Glucosamine

My guys are on powdered glucosamine bought from the local feed merchant. Has anyone ever used the glucosamine tablets that you buy in a certain health food shop that regularly does the 1p sale, as I reackon it would work out cheaper in the long run to buy when they have this kind of sale on

Glucosamine on its own is much less effective than when it is paired with chondroitin and/or MSM. Those from the health food chain are probably a human sized dose, so you might have to give a fair few each day to a horse. The NAF Glucosamine plus MSM is about the cheapest I have found at around £15 for a tub which lasts around 6 weeks.
