I've recently put my horse in Scoots on his hinds (fronts are shod) and he has pads in, as suggested by Urban Horse to improve the fit slightly. However his right hind clearly has a slight "screwing" motion, and he's twisting the pad round and out when cantering or galloping. I'd glued them in with Uhu, which was about as useful as Pritt Stick (no reflection on Uhu - they have never claimed that their product is suitable for farriery!). Any better suggestions? I'm thinking about asking the farrier to fix them in with some kind of resin. If that doesn't do it I'll just give up on the pads. The boots themselves stay put very well with mud straps on.
In a similar vein, has anyone padded out the back bars with anything additional under the trail gaiters? I could do with the neoprene being twice as thick really. Any tried and tested ideas welcomed, as are any suggestions for useful FB groups or similar (I looked but couldn't find any suitable discussion groups, only selling groups).
