Hi does any one have the go pro camera that they use when riding, either on their head or chest? Which model do you have and are they anygood? Thinking of getting one, thanks

I pinched the OHs GoPro Hero 3+ to take across the stubble the other night. The quality is amazing and I didn't even have it in the highest resolution. I also like that you can download frames as photos, so have got a couple of fab wide-angle pics.

I had it on my hat and I did notice the extra weight. I also remember thinking that I wouldn't want to fall off and land forehead-first on anything! I'm looking at getting the GoPro Session as it's a bit smaller. Also because the OH wants his toy back. He wants to video his golf...

(He did admit that my stubble field gallop was more exciting footage than his golf swing)

I have a go pro hero. Quality is very good. I have a chest strap and a hat strap, I prefer the hat strap when riding and the chest strap when lunging/long reining/groundwork.

I have a go pro hero also, video quality is great but have to agree I wouldn't want to fall off with it attached to my hat. Sadly though when it's on my chest I just get a great view of his enormous ears.
I have also nearly lost it going through low hanging trees a few times.

I have the hero 4 which I think is the top or second to top model. It's ace, quality is amazing. I wear it on my chest harness, on top of my body protector. I won't wear it on my head for safety reasons.

You won't beat a Go-Pro, as with many things buy the best you can afford, the Hero 4 silver is a good buy as its great quality video and the screen allows you to frame the shot (most go-pros don't have a viewing screen). The most expensive Go-Pros shoot at 4K resolution, but as most monitors and TV's can't handle 4K, you will find 1080p HD more than good enough.
