I put a question in the dog section yesterday about worming goats and got some helpful replies but I need some more splendid advice from the boffs on this forum so here goes...
1) What do you recommend I use to get rid of worms in my goats?

2) What do you recommend I use to get rid of ticks in my goats?

3) What do you recommend I use to get rid of fleas and mites in my goats?

4) Anything I should have in my first aid kit that all good goat owners need?

I have two little girly goats given to me as a present - they are about 11/2 years old and living in Morocco. I will be spending two months in the holidays with then (and my horses) but I want them to be bug free and healthy.

Our vet would recommend Noromectin- an injection of ivermectin- this would sort out worms, mites, ticks etc all in one go, but I think you would have to buy it on prescription from the vet.
Other alternative is panacur for worming and mite powder for the mites and ticks- you wouldn't need a prescription for this-just buy from an agricultural merchant.
Apple cider vinegar and natural yoghurt are probably my goat essentials. ACV keeps their gut active, prevents kidney problems in fat whethers and is a good antibacterial (in a milking goat) and worm deterrant. The yoghurt is fantastic for bloat (goaty colic from too much concentrate in their diet).

Agree with these, we used panacur as a routine wormer and ivomec was a godsend for my itchy/scabby goat's legs :)
