God dam lunge lines

Has anyone else noticed this or had there self hog tied by there lunge line? E.g. your lunging your horse and your lunge line seems to go every where and when you do need to gather it up (you horse comes in the circle or charges at you) you either end up wraping you self round it or hog tieing your horse PMSL. Cant some one invent a lunge line like at retracting dog lead? In would be a great idea lol hehe.

Sorry to ask this but what does PMSL stand for I've seen it a couple of times on posts and I'm a bit thick and can't work out what it means??

Even though I'm sure you'll loose a bit of the contact , I don't care I would lunge more if it was easier!

I reschooled a horse for a friend and i wanted to lunge her so went to get the kit and she pulled out a massive retractable lunge line.

I dont know if it was purposely made for horses but it extended to 15m ish so you could get a big circle out of it. Bit heavy in the hand though

She picked it up at a car boot sale

It was probably one of those extendable washing lines. HAHA
