Tomorrow morning I am doing a BD competition over at Croft Top in Lancashire, and I have butterflies doing somersaults in my stomach. I have not been nervous like this for a long time, but I am doing the tests without a reader and am absolutely terrified I will forget them both!!!

My husband has been reading them for me, but because he won't be able to next week at Richmond, I thought I should do a dummy run before the 'big' day... I didn't realise how much I rely on him reading out the test until I have had to learn them. I never had him reading for me when I used to compete Hannah, but since starting working in the long arenas with all the new letters I have to admit I have chickened out several times and asked him last minute to read for me. But tomorrow he is under strict instructions not to read for me no matter how much I plead...

But I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nervous

Read through your tests just before you go to sleep - this is when your memory is most efficient. Make sure you take them to the comp with you and if it helps, have a quick read through before you warm up.
Remember to enjoy yourself, otherwise it won't be worthwhile.
Best of luck
xx
