Not relieved because I'm stupid haha!
I've had Milly two weeks now. When I bought her I was informed she was allergic to straw. Not a problem as I didn't use it. So the first week no problems. Second week she starts coming up in egg shapped lumps! Not loads, just a few here and there and as some went down others came up! Thought about it rationally... there was no pattern, didn't tend to come up more at night than day. Started to be really careful about letting hay get in to her bed, using lots of fly repellant. Rugged her at night incase she was sensistive to shavins and still more lumps comin up!
Then tonight I realize I'm feeding her chaff full of chopped straw! Yes, I feel really dim!! For the first week I was finshing the end of my last horses alfa A which is just alfa not straw so wasn't an issue then I changed feed. Yes, I feel stupid but so relieved I have it sorted!!
