Well, spoken to vet who is thrilled with how the operation went. Apparently all great, no problems, couldn't have gone better. Only slight glitch is that she has REALLY muscley back legs so he had to cut through quite a lot of muscle so she is going to be really sore and he is now saying 2weeks no walking, just light pottering around. Which is fine.
But just been to see her. God she's in a state. She can't stand, at all, but tried when she saw me and she just can't do it. Vet promises that tomorrow she'll probably manage and he even thinks she'd be able to come home tomorrow. we'll see how she gets on.
Anyway, she's crying and shaking and whimpering but she's still got that mammoth appetite so she can't be that bad! One of her favourite nurses is doing the nightshift tonight so I know she'll be well looked after.
Just so distressing seeing her unable to stand =[ hope she'll manage tomorrow.
On a brighter note, the comfy collar you guys recommended is FAB!
Sorry, this is a bit of a pointless post. But, you know.
