God the flies today !!

I'm itching all over after being out today - the boy and me with Deet on for our walk too. Totally disgusting, especially when they go for your ears.

This morning i got covered in little 3mm creepy black things (no idea what they are) and get this - one has got behind my puter screen and is crawling around......computer is one week old but i guess he'll drop down when he snuffs it.

Think i need a very long shower. urgh sm x

Uuurgh! Are the little black things called storm flies? Don't know where you are in the country but the flies bothering my horses today were relentless. At one point my Exmoor pony could'nt open his eyes for the amount of flies on his eyes and face. I put him in his stable, he was very relieved...at which point the flies all attacked me instead. When does fly season end?

I hate flies! I was telling my friend the other day that I wish someone would create a massive fly repellent (sp) mount for the field.

As soon as we try and wave them away from the horses, they are all over us instead
