Goggles does Lucinda Green!!

Took gogs to do the LG clinic at Stockland lovell today and i have to report he was fab!!

So to get there for my lesson at 8.30 i was jumping out of bed!! at 4 this morning to go and feed and muck out before we left!!

Left the yard at just gone 5.15 and headed down - made good time and it only took as 2 1/4 hours with a stop! so plenty of time to get ready and get on!!

Started off in the school jumping very small skinnies, points and rails but all very good for gogs and he jumped them all 1st time so was very impressed with him!!

then we started on the more complex stuff doing a serpentine over the different element - skinni, out of point, skinni, in to point, skinni and so on working up to about 2ft 6 ish!

After we all got this sorted we started jumping the mock XC jumps and was all very good for gogs to see and me to get some tips on riding him! Changed his bit after a while to a nathe full cheek snaffle and put the martingale on with a great result as he was a lot softer but just a strong so think thats just going to be him!!

After doing some more complex stuff in the school roll top skinnie and some curving lines we heading out to have a go at the water (the only oart we could use as it was so wet!) so jumped a few jumps round there including his 1st owl hole 1st time and jumping in to and out of water with me getting covered in the process as it was quite deep and i was alot closer to the ground than the others!!

So all in all come back very happy with him and thinking if aiming at something the end of april after a bit of work on the dressage and then maybe BE may/june time!!
