Well as i was meant to be doing hartpury this week hadn't got much planned for the little man but saw there was a working hunter show on at bromyard so thought i would take him along!
Was going to do the 2ft6 then 2ft9 but as things went only got there for the 2ft 9 so i was a little wary as hes never really jumped that big before but WOW is all i can say he was a little star jumping a lovely clear and then being very well behaved cantering round with everyone else and did a good show for him to come 5th out of 7th!! the 2 below had one down!!
Then as that went well took him in the 3ft and thought i had really put him in at the deep end but again he jumped his sox off (putting in a total of about 40% effort!! wish song was like that) to do another good clear and another good show to come 3rd out of 5 but again the 2 below had fences down!!
But sooo pleased with the little man he seems to take everything in his stride (literally!!) and nothing phases him so cant wait to event but think he will be one of those horses that will do double clears but still be last becasue of his dressage!!
will put vids up when there off the vid (am having a mammoth download as the lead has been broken for weeks and got a new one today!!)
