Well goggles bless him has had a bit of a swift start to the season!! was meant to be taking song to the lucinda green clinic tomorrow but after xrays 3 weeks ago this was not possible so gogs was dragged in and has started work!!

So as ive got to actually jump him tomorrow thought i might take him for a lesson and what a star he was, haven't really got anywhere to cater so has done most of that on the lunge and have only popped a few poles at home in the field but not ideal on him!!

Well started warming up and catered him and he was great alot more relaxed than last season just not quite as flexible!!

Then moved on to pole and he did his usual trot look walk over them but then did them fine after that then just worked our way up and he didn't put a foot wrong the whole lesson!! Did a combination, water tray, planks, filler not a bother and all 1st time!!

Hope you like the pics

WOW, he's improved alot.. love the last one over the skinny.. he looks like he can't be arsed with the easy ones, but give him something to think about, and he'll make some effort!!
Where's your first event with him?

thanks!! im so pleased with him and as you have all said hes looking and feeling so much better than last year , but as was talking to mum tonight hes been in a lot more consistent work and hes very much in a routine now - hes ridden every day with lunging on each rein before hand and then a few lap with stirrups down then leg up and off we go with company and always when mum gets how so about 5.30 6ish and it suits him so much better!!

well gogs has only come back into work as song still not quite right so not sure where im going!! got another one to event at about the same level only hes 6 so think i will do a few unaffiliated ones at sapey and maybe go to the unaff one at tweseldown and probs do some at stockland lovell and then BE when the dressage and XC brakes are up to speed with the jumping!!

ive been trying sooo hard with my position riding race horses for a living is not got for it!! had a lesson on the other one ive got to event the day before and my lower leg was all over the place so was concentrating so hard on it and its easy to do on him as you no hes going to jump well 9 time out of 10!!
