Going at Richmond??

Has anyone been to Richmond today? :) I'm entered for the BE100 on Monday and I wondered what the going was like at the moment. :eek:

I've not been today but not sure where your travelling from I live about 30 mins away & we have not had good weather ! some really heavy rain ! not constant but crazy heavy when it has rained
i was supposed to go xc schooling today & it was closed due to the ground & were due more rain so it doesn't look good

sorry to be the bearer of bad news !!

Travelling at least 2 1/2 hours. My horse has been back in work two years after tweaking her front suspensory ligaments at Hutton in bad going.......
 
I was one of the last to go today in the 90 and I thought the going was very good, they have gravelled any wetter take offs and landings, they wouldn't want any more rain so that it doesn't cut up but just about everyone was getting on and off with wagons all day. Hope this helps
 
I walked the course at 6 pm tonight, and was amazed at how good the going was. I spent the whole drive up convinced I was wasting my time and they might cancel tomorrow but the course as a whole is in very good condition indeed. My own fields 50 miles to the south are soaked but there is plenty of grass cover up there, it is not cutting up too badly and all the takeoffs and landings are prepared. I will take a couple of corners wide tomorrow but that is because her lady ship is shoeless and I do not want to risk her slipping.
 
Dito all of the above. I to was one of the last to go today and was surprised how good the ground was. After the awful forecast the rain managed to stay away -fingers crossed for the next two days.
 
Oh no they have cancelled todays :( So sorry for all that have entered and poor rosiesmumof4 :( Can't see that tomorrow will be running if more rain is forcast :( Bloomin weather :(
