Going barefoot behind for the first time

Following a thread a while back about boots, I was meaning to ask you about these....how hard wearing have you found them? And do you use them for fast work and mud? I've got a Scoots fit kit on the way (for recently barefoot hind feet, as the OP) but if they don't fit properly then Flex is another option suggested by Urban Horse. My main reservations are that people seem to say they are prone to coming off with fast work, and that they wear through quickly at the toe. Would love to know what you think!
Wear wise they have been fine. However, they are no good in mud! Fine on dry grass or on the road.

I was just happy to find something that didn't rub. I found Scoots a bit harsh on the heel.

Many thanks. Very helpful. I have everything crossed that Scoots will fit - we're okay on the road, he just needs extra help on the stony bits that make up at least a part of all our hacking. We shall see!

Hi all
Pics of hinds attached. One was wet soz
I think they're looking OK though he needs to grow them heels. It's only been three days after all. He's moving well now. We have sandy land which means it's not too wet in the fields. Open to your thoughts x
