So got another diagnosis for my mare today at last. In addition to having an autoimmune disorder she now has arthritis in a joint at the back of her moth under her tongue. Think we are going for the record in the number of rare conditions possible:rolleyes:

So now she is going to have to have surgery in a couple of months to remove a bone that attaches her tongue to the joint to prevent said joint breaking and as it in the '3rd ear' if it does break she will loose her ability to balance and so will become unrideable.

So here we go again yet more treatment more bills and more time off. Did i mention that this week alone ive spent £400 on transport thats before the bills come in.

Has anyone else had a horse with this who has successfully gone through surgery? would be very keen to here from anyone who has.
